Could you give me your opinions on the VM28. Could I put a 314 shaft on it?

It is a fine cue, and yes, you can get a 314 for it.

As mentioned in the other thread regarding the Lucasi, I will throw my vote out again for a Viking.

If you have not visited Viking's web site, it may be worth a visit. You can learn about their production process, and you will see that at any price range you are getting a solid cue.

A 314 can be purchased for any Viking cue. And with any Viking cue you can customize finish and wraps, often for no additional charge.

I have owned several Vikings. Ranging from 180 up to 700 bucks. I have recently retired my Viking as my play cue in favor of a custom made Nitti cue. But my Viking still performs just as well as the 2000 dollar Nitti. It just doesn't have all Ivory inlays and such. :)

agreed i take it you are somewhat new to the game and want to begin to get serious. So i would get a cheaper Viking and then like audiopro when you really love pool and are good then you can upgrade to a really nice cue

by the way audiopro we are still awaiting pic's of the new cue........ were waiting

Hi I am not new to the game been playing for almost 13 years now but I only recently started to want a new cue, My father gave a Maxton for my birthday some years ago but I dont want to wear it out because of sentimental reasons and It was a really great cue (little poor on power but exelent control) but I feel it is time to retire her.

I play almost daily and sesions of at least 2 hours so I dont consider my self as new to the game.
I want a cue that not to improve my game(if it can then what else can I ask :D ) but more becuase I love this game.
I live in Mexico and its a little hard to find good cues in here so I have to make a good first time choice, Also I have just paid school (I am studing medicine) so I am little short in budget.

So any help or advice you guys have its great.

I thought my camera was broke because it would not focus on the shots it was taking. I just found out it was because I had it in macro mode.. So tomorrow morning I will take some pics and get them up...
