Hey guys guys i was wondering if this combo would be worth it the Lucasi L- E13 with a 314 pred macthing ringwork and prolly a moori tip or molavia. Or should i save up and buy a Predator ? I currently own a Lucasi L-2000SP sneaky pete its a decent stick but i prefer the feel of a stick with the metal ferrule , EX L-E13 . I've used Lucasi's lower line the players good sticks for the price ive been wantingsomthing to quench my appetite i've gotten more serious about my game since i joined Bud Light this session. Any cue reccomendations will be helpful :)

If your considering an entry level cue with a Predator shaft I would recommend taking a look at the Viking line. There cues carry the same quality of construction throughout the price range. Only artistic work adds to the cost, not better construction. So you know you are getting a great piece of equipment at an entry level price.

Additionally Viking is made in the USA.

I have a viking with a 314 shaft on it and i love it. As a side note looking back now i wish i would of picked a better design i just bought the VM34 very basic but like audiopro said no matter if you buy a $100 viking or a $2000 viking they will play the same. Also check out Mcdermott. Lucasi cues are low level production cues made overseas! so go with quality go with American... Right on Audiopro :)

It is important that you know the difference between joint types and know which one you like better. the Lucasi comes with a metal joint and if you prefer that type then the only Viking in that price range with a metal joint is the VM-30, Mcdermott does not have a cue in that price range with a metal joint.
Spending $200 on a cue and another $200 for the Predator shaft is a lot of money so do your homework and try to find out what kind of feel and hit you like best.
I like the metal joint better and for that sum of money I think the Lucasi is a good buy regardless where it was made.

Keep in mind though you can actually get any of 6 different joint types on any Viking cue.

You can also customize many other options for little or no extra cost.
