Looks great, clasic design, one of the best looking viking cues that I've seen.
How much did you pay for it, if I may ask?

The sticker says $400 and from a dealer you should routinely be able to get 20% to 25% off that would put the value (new) at $300. So at $200 for the cue and the case you got a great deal. As for collectability and increasing value Viking cues, unless they are the early models, do not see an increase in value.
Of course these are generalities and for any given specific model they may not hold true and who knows what the future will bring. What you did do was get a nice looking classic design cue from a company that makes a good cue and you got it for a great price.
Well I have to admit I was a little stumped on this one. Although that is not hard to do. I had to check with one of the other gentlemen here in the office to get some information on that cue.
He said that he thought it was part of the Madison line. Which was a line that we made for a company in Germany. They ended up not taking all of the cues we made so that is how it made it to you. As for production time, he didn't remember but he guessed about 4 years ago, give or take.
From talking to people here, their feeling is that it is very unlikely you will ever run into anyone with the same cue as you. You can take immense pride in the fact that you are playing with a great cue that very few people have had the pleasure of seeing.
Congratulations on a great purchase.
