Here we go, a topic that has some relevance to pool.
1st choice-City Lager. A beer by a small local brewer that is tough to find. Gotta keep my neighbors working.
2nd choice(s)-Coors or Pabst.
Price no object beer-Spotted Cow. A pricey micro beer out of New Glaris Wisconsin.
Favorite import-Harp from Ireland.
Favorite booze-Bacardi Salero.
I'm not much of a fan of light beers but if I had to choose it would be Michelob Golden Draft.
All free beer is good or if not good at least drinkable!

I have consumed no micro brews, so I can put a vote in there. For Imports though I will go with Corona, because an ex of mine drank that I got used to it. I think of her everytime I push a lime through the top.. God was she beautiful!!!
As said before, light beer Bud Light gets the vote. Regular beer, Bud gets the vote.. lol I am in redneck town.. ha ha
Favorite hard stuff, Grey Goose vodka and Cranberry, or any Margarita. When I am feeling like not drinking, throw back a couple bloody Mary's, and I am good to go again..
Least favorite drink... Damn friggin Bloody Marias.. Man I got killed with those one night. Never again!!

You aint joking there!
First is and will always be - A perfect pint of Guinness.
Micro - McSorley's it's a great dark porter beer made in NYC the McSorley's Old Ale House is one of the oldest bars in NYC they even have a stool that Lincoln stood on and gave a speech.
And then there is whisky - any Irish will do but Powers is the best and then Jameson.
An old single malt scotch will great as well, for me 16 years old Lagavulin will do the trick :)

I like Bud light, Molson ICE, LaBatt ICE, Honey Brown, Killians Irish Red. Long Island Iced Tea is my favorite mixed drink. I favor clear liquors such as gin and vodka, preferrably Tanqueray.

PBR for the beer, then bud light.....vodka for the hard stuff....Coming up as a teeny bopper, we bought PBRs in the quart bottle from the bootleggers....kinda grew up on it and it still remains my favorite...just have to carry an aspirin or two for the aftermath... 8)

That is amazing. Didn't know someone would purposely drink Pabst. lol...
When I used to work construction we would always stop by 7-Eleven after work and pick up a couple six packs... Can anyone guess the beer???

Wouldn't be Sterling or Falstaff would it...or maybe Jax...we use to ride over to Mississippi and buy Jax on Sundays for about a buck for a six pack... :D ...the good ole days....tasted more like cow piss and carbonated water....but it was about all we could afford
For me, it's Guinness or Labatt's Blue, in the rare event it's beer time.
Otherwise, it's Myers's Rum and Diet Coke, double shot of rum, in a tall glass. In the unlikely event I've stumbled upon a well-enough stocked bar, I will drink Patron Silver Anejo tequila, but never, ever as shots. Pour it into a water glass, fill about two-thirds full, add a splash of Rose's Lime, and add ice to fill. The unfortunate part is that most bars that have Patron will charge around $15 for this drink, as it's 4-5 shots of expensive ($50 or more a bottle) tequila.

If you want more alcohol in a beer try one of the imports, hmmm, I think one is called Golden Draak. It is like 10% if I remember right!

24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not!

Stephen Wright was absolutely right!!!
Of course we are supposed to sleep for 8 hours. So we have to slightly modify the beer per hour formula! :P
60 minutes in an hour and six packs that's 144 beers in a 24 hours period so the a case of beer should hold 144 beers :)

Oh I don't know about this weekend for that. My other half will have to work, and I'm not too sure he'll want me to go alone! Although, my aunt does live there...it could be a double trip!!
audiopro
05-24-2004, 01:25 PM
Well, I don't mind if you go alone.. That should balance out his desire for the opposite... lol...
9balldiva
05-24-2004, 01:49 PM
lol...that's no balance, that would be very disrepectful of me to him!! My two cousins live in Altamonte Springs, and I have been telling them I would come visit...I just don't think this is the weekend for that though. You are more than welcome to come here though. You should have come up this past weekend for the tournament...if anything just to watch...there were some gooood matches. Many of them went hill to hill!

05-24-2004, 02:07 PM
