I have noticed little bumps that come up on the shaft of my Viking cue. They start about 2 inches from the joint and go for about 3 inches. There is not a lot of them and you can feel them better than you can see them. I originally thought that something had been splattered on the cue so I cleaned it. A couple of months later they are back. I've cleaned it a few more times and they always come back. I even got the cue under a strong light and a magnifying glass ...it looks like sap is still coming out of the shaft. I thought Viking used a thorough drying process? Anyone else had this problem? Suggestions .....other than to clean my shaft more often?

thanks,

Never heard of this problem with Viking or any other production cue maker for that matter. Contact Viking, I'm sure they will replace the shaft immediately.

Yeah this sounds like an anomaly. I own several Viking cues, one of them going on about 7 years, and I have never seen or heard of this problem. Definitely contact Viking, they have been great with customer support.

Good Luck!
