Ive beent thinking of getting the lucasi le-70 but I have heard mixed reviews so I was wondering if anyone couldgive me any information on them or what other cues are good at the 300 price level???
For that kind of $$$ I would go with one of Predator's sneaky petes

Pred sneaky pete for $300. You cant go wrong with a 314 at that price.

Research, research, research. The number one rule to buying a new cue.
I agree with the rest about the Predator though. Spend a couple weeks pouring over other manufacturers cues and the information they provide so you are making an informed decision. This is a very pro-Predator board, but there is good reason for that as well.

I would like to get the predator but i know someone with a predotor sneaky peet spwu and id feel weird having the same or a similar cue as him., especially since he is competition.
murphy law: eventually you will always run into someone who the cue that you have :)
I wouldn't regard this isseu when getting a production cue

thanx skor...u seem to know ur pool. what area do u shoot pool in? I shoot around the north jersey and NYC area.
When I was living in NYC, I used to shoot at Corner Billiard and sometimes at Amsterdam billiard club or Soho Billiard, at the moment I don't live in the USA :)

I have tried several Sneaky Pete Predator cues. They don't do nothing for me on and off the pool table. When on the table it DOES NOT give me the feel that certain Lucasi cues give me. Trust me go with a LUCASI cue and you won't be sorry!
If anyone is interested, look for me at CORNER BILLIARDS EVERYDAY!! I'm a REGULAR THERE.

Next time your going to be in Corner Billiards, look for a guy named Tony Robles, he used to give lessons there and he'll show you a thing or two and what predator is all about, if he is not there then you should go up to Amsterdam billiards and look for him or for George SanSouci aka “Ginky”
BTW bring alot of $$$ with you :)

Tony Robles I have seen before in the days that I've been at Corner Billiards. But as for 2004, I have not seen him to date. Tony Robles aka Silent Assassin, like you said use to give lessons. Anyhow, he should be under the wing of a production cue company now with many endorsements as well as winning many prizes and cash.

I have the luxury of there only being 79 other people in the world with the same cue I have......
