View Full Version : Viking J/B conversion?

Are the shafts that come with the J/B converted Vikings any different from the standard Viking playing cue shafts? ie. are they less flexible and provide more power?

I have difficulty getting any power with a Viking playing cue on the break...

Thanks :D.

No, it is a normal Viking cue with the modified butt. I would suggets putting a phenolic tip on it. Great jumping and breaking tips.

Would a phenolic tip improve power on the break though?

I still think that the shafts are too flexible and would be taking an 'edge' off my power....

Everyone here likes them and uses them. (expept me, to lazy to grab a break cue all the time.) I do know that one of the guys I play alot got one and he became a lot harder to beat. his breaks were better, making more balls and getting a better spread thus running out on me more often. Rick and Jason here at the store uses them and they are a couple of the better players in our area.
