I've been interested in buying one of these custom cues, but I have some questions regarding some of the options. I was wondering what the cue would look like with no-wrap ebony instead off the irish linen and also how it would look with a leather wrap. Do either change the feel of the cue during play, and if so, which would be better for a novice pool player? Can the turquoise inlays be substituted for any other material, such as any material with a red or a dark blue color? If so, how would that affect pricing? I thank you for your time and hope to see a reply soon.

The wrap does not change the playability of the cue, only the feel in your hand. Ebony is a heavy wood which may change the weight and ballance of the cue. If you are not that familiar with cues and don't realy know what you like to play with or what is best for you then I suggest that you walk into a billiard store and feel different cues for weight and balance points before you spend that kind of money on a cue and you might not like it.

BTW seyberts has a similar cue in the lowered cue price section that has gone down to a very attractive price

Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I am always willing to listen to others and learn from their experience. I am still curious to know whether I can have the turquoise inlays replaced if I still decide to purchase this cue. I fell in love with this cue from the moment I saw it in a magazine ad and have my heart set on it. Thanks again for your time.

yes, you can usually customize any of the pechauer models. Just have to allow up to six weeks for Pechauer to produce the cue to your specifications.

Does it cost more to customize Sid?

Yes you can customize this to what you like for no extra change, as long as it is the same costs of material.
