Im sure ill have people disagree but the cue designs are absolutly terrible. the only one that is just good is the VM-2-W but 600 bucks im shopping elsewhere. I just wanted to see if anyone else agreed with my observation. The original VM line is ok but nothing too flashy. At least viking is tring something different unlike predator who just came out with practicly the same line as last year. The only cue maker that i really like both quality and design is Schon. granted they are more expensive than most vikings but there performance is suposably superior but even more Most of there designs are awsome! I just dont understand it??? opinions anyone????[/code]

looked at many vikings and dont care on the design of any of them think there all fugly schon makes a superb cue a bit pricey but worth every cent and a schon will never loose value only increase as time marches on .
when it comes to design, it is realy a matter of taste.
If you have a design that you would like for your cue and the money for it just find a good cue maker and custom your own one of a kind cue.
Whether you know it or not.... Schon uses C&C machines to make there inlays too. There are not to many cue makers out there that don't use this same process.
It's all a matter of taste. I like relatively plain cues (hence the Predator 3k-1) more than something with a lot of inlays. I'm sure they wouldn't have made those cues if they didn't have research indicating there is a market for them.
The fact that some people like Schon, some like Predator, some like Meucci, some like Viking, some like Joss, etc., is why we have all of these great companies to choose from. If one cue design and set of playing properties worked for everyone, every cue would look and feel the same.
