Aramith Super Pro Balls

Has znyone besides me noticed lately that the Aramith Super Pro balls on the TV matches have different colors? I'm referring to the 4 and 7 balls. The 4 is now a light pink instead of a deep purple and the 7 is changed as well (as well as their striped counterparts). Is it my TV? I have a set of Aramith Premium balls on my table so I know their original colors. Any info out there?

It's not your TV. I have noticed the same thing. What's up with the pink balls? Not sure if they changed the dyes or what but I like the current style better than the pink and strange colors. :?

They mentioned in a TV match I was watching that the colors were specifically changed so they would be picked up better on TV.

Now I know I'm not nuts and my $1500 tv isn't on the blink. Those two new aramtih colors are ugly! I will never buy a set with those two colors.

I was in a pro shop here (Milwaukee) picking up a new Pechauer cue and a guy came in who had ordered a set of the Aramith Super Pro "TV" balls. The 4 and 12 balls were in that Pepto Bismol color and the 7 ball was in some diharreha brown color. They are just as ugly in person as they are on television but this guy was excited to be one of the first people alive to own this magnificent set of balls. The good news is, if he ever broadcasts a 9-ball tournament from his rec room, he'll be all set.

those balls are just plain ugly... the elephant beautiful balls look awesome though....
