Well it seems like it was just yesterday, but the 2004 VNEA tourney is just a week away. I was wondering if any of you have any ideas about inspiring your team mates for such an event. I fear that due to some drama between member that we will not do very well so I need some ideas to get everyone on the ball so to speak. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Our team does its best in tournaments when we all relax and just shoot our games. We remind each other regularly to stay down on our shots, relax, and have a good time. That's what helps us. I shot a division up in the teams last week in our state tournament, and did better than I expected, just because I relaxed and didn't play someone else's game. I just hope I can stay as relaxed tomorrow for my division in states.

Parrothead, I could give some tips here that may help but maybe we will play you guys so I guess I will just stay quiet for now. Good Luck!!! What is your team's name? Open or Masters?

Hey Elvis. The team is Caseys 7, and we are playing open.
Just relax, don't get upset over anything, think that you are in a practice match with your freind and most important have fun and enjoy it.

Sage advice Skor, maybe I can get my teammates to tatoo it on the back of thier hands or something so they can remember. I think the thing I hate about team tourneys is that there is very little I can do to make things happen. In the two years I have played I have lost 2 games, so there isn't much more in the win department that I can do.

Well I have to say that we must be the unluckiest team in existence. I have never seen a team so unable to get a role not matter how they are shooting. Our first round was close but we drew a pretty good team. Came down to the last game, but we just couldn't get any luck while it seemed to be pilling on the teams we were playing. All in all I have to say I am pretty pissed about things, but hey what can you do, I won 4 of my six games and the other two were 7's. I really hope that Elvis's team did better. Guess we have BCA to look forward to in 2 weeks. :)

Parrothead, funny you should mention "getting rolls". I found your bracket and was going to look you up but noticed you guys had lost. We play the team you guys lost to in one of our leagues and if they played like leagues they got more than there share of good rolls.  . Our team did really well and finished 13-16th place (our best showing yet) so it was a pretty good weekend. I'm looking forward to BCA as well...maybe we can meet up and shoot a few games.
