I've been looking around for a good hard case, like a 1x1 or 1x2, something along those lines (i only need one full cue to kick your ass, and a possibly a backup shaft  ). Anyways, what do you guys reccomend?
Thanks,
Zach

I can recommend the Guiseppe! I have the regular 2X4 in black and it is well made and looks pretty nice for the price!

I too have a Giuseppe. I ordered mine with an optional Ortona pattern. It ads a bit of uniqueness to the case I think. I have a 2x3, but they do make 1x1 and 1x2.. Good quality case...
I plan to by an Instroke to house my Nitti once it is finished... But that is just because I am bored and have money burning a hole in my pocket or something... Actually I just want that extra touch of class that goes with the Instroke case.
But the Giuseppe will serve you well I am sure, as it has for me...

AudioPro . . . . .
If you want a really special case for that really special (Nitti) cue, then I’d suggest that you take a close look at Jack Justis’s (http://members.aol.com/JJustis4/) cases.

Ok, well, i guess i was thinking of the other kind of hard case, sorry for not specifying, i was thinking like the Schmelke, http://www.seyberts.com/cases/schmelke/index.htm,, like cases.
Thanks, sorry for the confusion,

You want the real hard cases, get the Zero Halliburton case.

Zero Halliburton. The ultimate in cue protection and I do believe the offer their cases in smaller configurations than what is available here on the Seybert’s site.
the tube cases are much more comfortable and they are hard and protective, the pockets are great benefit as well.
I would recommend you to get a case that could hold at least two cues, if you ever think about getting a break cue, then you'll have to spend more money on getting a second case.

It sounds as if you are the expert. Why are you asking for our advise? :?

Nick,
Those cases are amazing. It is a good thing I didn't see them when I was shopping for a case... I couldn't imagine spending over $1200 for case though, as that is what he charges for his alligator skin case. Yet another bookmarked site :D

I hope you aren't referring to me......I am far from rich. :D I'm a poor government employee.:) I just like my toys and make sure I get quality when I do. I just ordered a set of custom joint protectors made of either bois de rose or rosewood w/ ivory for my 3K6, 314 and Z. They should be here next week, I can't wait!

No, I wasn't referring to you but rather the ones who would pay $1200 for a cue case.

Back to your original question though Zach. Is there a particular reason you want a box case? The tube cases are solid, and offer a lot more features and convenience.

To be honest Audiopro, i just like the look better, a matter of preference i guess.
Thanks,

Deathtron,
I have a Schmelke 2x2 and LOVE it. It has the side compartment for tools and "stuff". If you are interested in buying it, I now have it for sale ONLY because I am now carrying more than 2 cues. It is in GREAT shape and I will let you have a very good deal on it. Originally purchased it here at Seyberts. Send me an email address if you are interested.
