I would like to have my stock LePro tip replaced by a Moori tip. I have no one local that does a good job on tips (last time got my shaft back badly dinged and damaged).

So I was wondering if Viking offers tip replacement services, or if Seyberts themselves does.

Has anyone here had a tip replaced by Seyberts? Do they do a good job if so? I dont want a scratched ferrule and dinged up shaft coming back again..

:(

Just yesterday UPS brought me a shaft from Seybert’s who had put a Moori tip on the new shaft for me. It’s a nice hitting tip and I’ve no complaints about the workmanship.

Seybert's just refinished a Predator shaft that was damaged by someone who threw a cue that landed on mine. They did a fantastic job on the shaft itself, and at the same time, I had them replace the tip with a Moori medium. Love it, and they did a great job, too. Have no fear about sending anything to them. They even ship it back in packaging that ensures that your shaft/cue will not be damaged.

If it helps, I just got my cue re-wrapped by Seyberts and they did a wonderful job. Their customer service is awesome and they did everything exactly to my specs. Unfortunately, to no fault of Seybert's, the wrap color didn't quite end up like I had hoped. Oh well. Hopefully in a year I will be able to do this kind of work myself....:D

I let Seyberts do my tipping on my predator shafts...All others, I do myself.....I keep several other cues for other people to play with...I experiment with those...Seyberts also did a nice job of turning down my 12.75 Predator down to a 12.25///...You can't beat there service or price....mike

Ditto on the price. I bought some accessories at the same time, and refinishing the shaft, the new Moori, and the accessories was around $80, including shipping. A bargain indeed, as I expected the refinishing to run around $60.
