I'm interested in a Pechauer cue. I'm wondering if anyone who owns or has played with both the J Series and Pro Series could comment on their performance. (I understand that the Pro is more expensive and elaborate.)

In particular, I'm wonder if the Implex plastic joint on the J Series provides a better feel or is just a cheap alternative to the metal joint on the Pro Series?

Are there any other performance differences.

Also, how's the craftsmanship on the J vs. Pro?

Thanks.

with a Pechauer cue, you will always get good craftsmanship.
The implex joint provide a softer hit then the metal joint, it's realy up to the player prefernce.
I have only played with the Pechauer sneaky pete which looks great an plays great but is has a wood to wood joint.

by the way "the venture" Pechauer cue with the 314 shaft that seyberts offers looks very nice and not to mention that it is a limited edition cue, with only 50 made it will be almost imposible to run into someone in the pool hall that has the same cue.
