Question for Schon owners

I have been looking at Schon's for a long time now. I break and shoot with the same cue and was wondering if there are any Schon users out there that do the same thing? What kind of a break do you get? Any thoughts welcome..THANKS

Hi Elvis,

I shoot with a LTD 514 and break with an older R1. The reason behind this is that I do not want to have to worry about popping my tip off, cracking the ferrule, etc., and then have to scurry to get a new shaft on for my next shot. BUT, I've never had any of the above happen. My R1 breaks and shoots beautifully, and my LTD, well, I've never broke with it, but it shoots just as nice as the R1. Both have Schon shafts, same tips, ferrules, and are the same in diameter and length. The tapers differ ever so slightly, but I don't notice the difference now that I've been shooting with both for a while. Now that I've said that, I don't think there is anything wrong with breaking and shooting with the same cue, as long as you have a second shaft should something, (God forbid), happen. My 2 cents.
