Has anyone noticed all of the Viking Special Editions on Ebay? Where are these coming from? Are they legit? Why do you not see them in other places?

Sure as hell looks like the viking logo and their quick release (as they call it) joint post. One of their reps should see this shortly and post to confirm or not.

The cues you speak of are Viking cues. They were Limited run models we made to use up some materials we had laying around. The person selling them bought all of them that we had.

Thanks ...that was what I was needing to know. It did seem odd that so many just came out of no where.

What is the likelyhood of these really being valuable someday?

How do they compare to other Viking Cues / lines?

thanks,

You know, I couldn't really say how valuable they will be. The LTD's or Limiteds as we call them, were based on the VM16 and VM17 except without the points in the forearm.

The biggest advantage to LTD's is that you can guarantee that you won't see the same cue you have everywhere you go. Being rare is definitely something people will look at to determine value. And I believe he only has about a hundred cues or so that he is selling.

As far as a comparison, these Limited models are representative of the excellent quality and playability you would expect from a Viking cue.

I hope this answers your questions.

Thanks,

Do these seem like a good deal for $140?!

Actually, if they are going for $140 I believe that to be a pretty good deal. I believe our suggested retail for those LTD's was around $270. Not to mention the increased pride in ownership due to the limited number of them out there.
