To all LePro Users.

On the last 3 tips I've went thru the tip seems to work the most consistant in the final weeks of life. Does anyone else find this to be true?

I keep using the tip untill I begin to Miscue with it.

I replace my Le Pro when the thickness wears down to somewhere between the thickness of a nickel and dime.

that happens because the tip has nowere to compress to and no "meat" on it to mushroom

I get rid of the LePro as soon as I get my cue...they do not hold shape well enough.

A LePro lasts me about 3-4 months and by that time it has mushroomed. And mushrooming doesn't affect my game in the least. It, indeed, affects the appearance of the cue, however.

the le pro works great in the first session after putting it on the shaft, after the first session, after it compressed it need reshaping and you'll need to cut of the the mushroomed edges of it, after that the tip acts as if it's areal hard tip and you need to use a pick a lot so it will hold the chalk, I realy don't like them that much

I currently use a black diamond - water buffalo tip, the last one held great for 6 months with 15 to 20 hours of play a week, I think I'm gonna try the Talisman pro next (in six months that is :) )

After the first 8 hours of my LePro's life, I never picked it again and I never miscued with it.

I had my stock LePro removed after two months of play to have a Moori M installed. I have never regretted the change, the Moori plays and feels absolutely superb compared to the LePro.

I have a Moori medium on my 314 and a Balabushka Hercules 23 layer tip on my Z and they are both an excellent tip. The Balabushka feels a little softer than the Moori, but they seem to perform equally as well. As I am sure most of you know, I don't like LePro tips.

In the near future I'll try a Talisman Pro medium and will let you know my impressions. Until then I'm quite happy with the single layer LePro. To each his own.

I'm playing almost exclusively with Talisman Pro Med and Moori III M now...not sure which I will gravitate to...but LePro is no match for these tips in playability or endurance.

New Kid,

Let me know what you think of the Moori IIIasI bought two of them to re-tip cues with. I would like to be able to tell the player what kind of hit they have when they ask me. Most players that I re-tip cues for just take my word as to what type of tip they would be good with after speaking with them for a few minutes. I am one of the very few players in town (approx. 45,000 pop.) that have actually done the research on tips, cues, woods, inlays, etc. Thanks.
