buy sell forum?

I was wondering if it would be appropriate to start a buy sell forum to buy sell or trade our pool supplies? I realize seyberts would rather us buy new from them but why not have a spot to buy something second hand?

Sid actually talked about having something similiar to that and he wants to get one going. We gotta get the chains and bearings oiled and ready to go for the remaining of the year, so hopefully that will come into action in near future.

If I were looking for a specific item that I would be willing to buy used, though, I would rather buy it from people here -- anyone psychotic enough to talk about pool usually takes care of their equipment. :)

Doing it here on the forum would alow us to avoid e-bay fees that you end up paying even if your reserve isn't met.
