Can anyone help me out and point me to a place where I can advertise my desire to find these particular Schon cues?
Thanks in advance.

keep checking E-Bay. That's where I got my 202.
And no, I will not part with it...ever!
Good Luck

Actually, there is a LTD 202 on Ebay right now...I was mistaken, it was the 1033 I liked with the triple rings and it's available at some retailers now. Thanks.

Just got the LTD-516. Nice example of Schon work...except for the lack of symmetry in the ivory point cuts on the forearm...say they can't fix it. Bummer. Blows the cue. This would be such a clean cue otherwise.

BuddyAlt,
Just purchased a LTD 202. Can't wait to get it. Looks like a sleek design with those long, thin ebony points.
You know, if you ever get tired of all those cue's just laying around I know where you could donate some to the less fortunate.

How many cues do you have New Kid?

I think I'm up around 50 or so. I keep finding new manufacturers that I like their work...my favorite cue right now that is my everyday playing cue is a John Robinson ES61.
The ES61 is all ebony with bloodwood, ivory, and silver inlays. It is one knockout cue. Check out Robinson Cues at www.robinsoncues.com. I had John put his joint on a 314 partial for me and he put a leather wrap on it to replace the Irish linen.
It's a veritable forest of cues!

Thats a few... I liked the E61 of his, with the blue dyed inlays. Very nice work..
I think if I ever decide to shell out a couple grand for a cue it will be a nitti (www.nitticues.com) in part because he is local. But honestly I have yet to see a sharper cue. He does very good quality work, and his designs are the type I like.
For now though my Viking VM9 (www.vikingcue.com/pages/cues/vm09.htm) is great. I love the design and it performs as well as any other cue. I did get it with optional black leather wrap, which I am very glad I did!! Looks and feels great.
New Kid,
You don't happen to have a Schon STL1 that you'd be willing to part with do you?

New Kid . . . . . Have you looked at the cues offered by Martyne Bachmen (co-author of Blue Book of Pool Cues, 3rd Edition on Chalkers.com (http://www.chalkers.com/)? She has some extremely nice collectables.
I’m holding my breath until Wednesday when my Samsara S168 (http://www.chalkers.com/id133.htm) should arrive!
side note to AudioPro . . . I combined an LC circuit with a few discrete components and now my Sneaky Pete sounds like Stevie Ray Vaughan when I rap it just right. ;-)
that is a lovely cue.
well done.

Nice! If you are ever playing in the Orlando, FL area let me know! I would love to take a listen!
I am currently finishing right now with the final RTA tuning of my original Balabushka that I worked into sounding the Dukes of Hazards theme song!
And get this, does it at an SPL level of 225!!!! 8)

That Samsara with the Amboyna is gorgeous..you'll be proud to own that one. Thanks for letting me know about chalkers.com, I hadn't seen that site.

The Blue Book 3rd Edition can be pre-ordered on www.bluebookinc.com and should be released in September 2004. It isn't overly expensive, so I will be reserving myself a copy ASAP.
New Kid, I noticed Blue Book has a booth at this year's expo. Should be interesting.

Tanar,
Already have two pre-published copies on order...in fact, it was originally going to come out next month in March, but I got a letter in the mail a day or two ago stating it would be delayed until September so that they could include anything new that might be in April's BCA show.
