5/16x18 Joint Protectors

I ordered some of the protectors Seyberts sells for this thread size and didn't like the fact that the female protector had the hole completely through it. When I put the protector on one of my Meucci cues, it looks unfinished with the pin able to be seen in the top of the joint protector.

Ordered a set of nice wood Cocobolo protectors in 5/16x18 and they are not threaded deep enough to completely cover the pin on my cues that are 5/16x18 (Meucci, Players (first cue), or Vikings.

Does anyone sell a joint protector for this size threading that is long enough to meet the joint flush when it is put on? The ones I have tried either have the hole in the top or they don't turn all the way down on the pin.
