Has anyone seen a Viking V2-V with smoke stain on it? I have the smoke stain on one of my Vikings, VM37, and it looks great. I've also seen it on a VM25 with blue pearl and it looked AWESOME.
I'm really wondering what it would look like on the V2-V, or even V2-U.
Viking does not recommend stain change on their site for these cues for some reason but I think it would look very nice with a brighter color pearl like the white.
I just got a V2-U for Christmas, but it was the V2-V I wanted so I'm hoping Viking will allow me to upgrade it, and I'm seriously thinking of going with the smoke stain on the V2-V.
And perhaps the joint 5 to help with the color transition into the lighter color shaft.
Any thoughts?
