Not sure if this needed a whole "topic" -- but, does the predator shaft have an ivory ferrel (spelling?) ?.. I checked but couldn't find anything under the "Predator" section of this site.

I read a post from "Cueman" & he says his game improved just by using a predator shaft... How is this possible? What does a normal shaft lack that the predator doesn't? Stability? Flex?...

Thanks in advance :D

Predator DOESN'T use Ivory ferrule. It's plastic and has thinner walls compare to other ferrule.

The Predator shaft has a lot of inovations not found in a regular cue shaft. Most importantly is that the tip end is hollow for the first five inches down to reduce the weight at the end of the shaft. Specifically designed for less cue ball deflection when using english. The splicing is another very important factor of the Predator shaft. Reduces vibration for a very solid hit and makes for radial consistency when shooting.
