View Full Version : Instroke tubes are tight
I purchased an Instroke case a few months ago and love it. One problem I have have is that one of the tubes (one that holds the butt) is really tight. I put my cue in and have to work it all the way in, joint up. At first I thought it would work its self out but hasn't yet. Is there any way I can fix this?

CJ, what kind of cue do you have? I have had a Cuetec (slid in joint up), a Lucasi (really tight and ended up putting it in joint down) and now have a Schon that fits fine joint up. I don't like putting cues in joint down but I think it really depends on what type of cue you have. Not sure if there is anything you can do to widen the tubes.
Well I have a Meucci for a playing cue and a Competition break cue. Neither one will fit in the tube join up (comfortably). Ive had an instroke before and they both fit just fine. It just feels like the material is bunched up. I guess im gonna have to go joint down on that tube.

In the past we had some problems with the liners on the tubes. This sounds like a warranty issue. Just go to http://www.instroke.com and fill out a repair request and send your case in. You will get a new interior that should work problem free.
