I've got a 1975 VW super beetle with moon roof. It ran when it was parked 2 yrs. ago. I'd take $1200.

Kokopuffs,
How well does the big shaver work? I am wondering about any type of scratching on the ferrule, if it shaves off too much of the ferrule, how user friendly it is, etc. This is more of a curiosity question than a buyers question.

The tool has a giant screw that adjusts the "reach" of the blade, that is, how far down the side of the tip it extends. Therefore the blade can be adjusted for any tip height to avoid cutting into the ferrule. It's never cut into my ferrule.

Not only is the reach adjustable, so is the cutting depth - by turning still another screw. Too deep and the blade will gouge the tip deeply. So the adjustment for cutting depth can allow for a very shallow cut which is desired, removing a very thin shaving from the side of the tip as the tool is rotated around the tip of the stick. The tool is very user friendly and doesn't require machine shop knowledge. Instructions are quit clear, concise and very easy to follow. Just go slow and cut shallow.

No wrenches required except for blade replacement.

And unlike the previous poster, thanks for your inquiry and for keeping it on topic.

Have you tried e-bay?

Nope, it's just alot easier to confine the sale to pool players forums yet I may try it in the near future. Thanks for the suggestion.

I guess it's only okay to list things that compete with the host. I'm sorry, my bad. Do you know any VW websites.

Glad it has been taken care of. If you don't mind, lets please keep this forum based on information in the pool world, I would rather people not to post things for sale here. We will handle the sales part of things here if you don't mind.
