To any tippers out there, have you ever used this to shave down a 14mm tip flush to a 13mm ferrule? I have yet to find an easy way to go from a 14 mm to 13mm in short of using a lathe.
Thanks for any feedback

I haven't tried the Grazer. I use the porper cut right but have to take a box cutter to trim the tip down to a size that will fit in it. There should be a better way for us amateurs.
I don't use any of these tools, I just use a utility knife with new blade and it works just great I also do tip repair for others and I never got any complaints 8O

I use the Proper grazer (as I am sure I have said in another similar thread) and I have started doing tips for the other players (for a fee of course). Once you get the hang of the cutter, it works like a charm. With the right touch and feel, you can get the tip looking like it just came off a lathe. One problem I do have with it though, is it does not work well with Elk Master tips. It took me about 2 hours to turn down the tip. With better quality layered leather tips, it usually takes me 30 minutes from start to finish.
Anybody know where blades can be bought for the Porper grazer?
with the utility knife it takes me 5 minutes and it looks like it just came off a lathe as well :)
i find the grazer easy to use.
you have to be careful that you dont cut the ferrule and take care when setting the height of the blade.
You can purchase the replacable mushroom grazer blade from us at http://www.seyberts.com/cue_accessories/tiptools/index.htm Just scroll down to the bottom and ya'll see replaceable blades for Porper Tools.
Thanks :)
