Are the hercules 23 layer tips that you guys sell domed, or are they flat on both sides?
how about this for being confusing,
The mediums are flat,
The medium Hards are domed
The hards are flat.
Just the way they send them to us.

They are a nice playing tip. I put a medium Hercules on one of my cues and it played very nicely. I would almost compare them to Moori, but not quite.
johnny archer uses a hercules tip on his cues.

not trying to rubbish them (Hercs 23 layer) but I recently purchased 4 of these off Ebay (medium , flat) . I normally use talisman soft but thought I would just try these for testing . The first thing after I glued the tip on but before any trimming the tip felt "spongy" , a little like the layers were seperating and looked that way ever so slightly . I tried it anyway for playing and although it was near impossible to miscue the hit was way too soft for me , way softer than the talisman pro soft that I use normally . Anyway , I tried a second one and it was exactly the same . I'm not sure if this is how they normally are or if I just purchased old or bad stock . The Hercs apparently used to be made by Talisman (not sure about the 23 layer herc though ) and some of the very early talisman tips I used delaminated (maybe coincidence , maybe not) . I'm currently back on the talismans and loving em . I fit moori's to a friends cue for him but they still seem to mushroom a little and "go off" after a while while the talismans do not mushroom at all and I haven't seen one "go off" either .

Could the tip you got from ebay have been counterfeit?
