What do the screw colors mean in the cues by J Pechauer?
How much per inch do the screws weigh?

I HOPE THIS WILL HELP YOU;;

BLACK: .7 OZ
BROWN: 1.1 OZ
YELLOW: 1.4 OZ
GREEN: 1.8 OZ
BLUE: 2.1 OZ
ORANGE: 2.5 OZ
WHITE: 3.1 OZ
RED: 3.7 OZ
GOLD: 4.4 OZ

I would weigh the shaft and butt on a digital scale to me more accurate. The weights and the cues are always off by some. a 1.0 oz weight could weigh 1.5 oz. Cues are the same way. If you know the exact weight you need call pechauer and have them weigh it before sending it to you.

Thanks for the info, I have the cue already and I forgot what the weight that I told him I wanted. It has the gold screw an I thought I might want to lighten it up a little. I like it heavy but this maybe to much.

appears from his signature that it was the jp07.


I just received from Seyberts this week the Pechauer Pro J. A relatively inexpensive pechauer but man it is pretty. the finish they use is very nice.

I have Pechauer cue (JP series) that I purchased here not too long ago... I think that it may be a little light for my taste...

So how do I go about changing the weight of the cue?
Where are these screws that you speak of?

They are under the rubber plug in the butt of the cue.
