hi Neil,

just Curious, whats the tip size diameter of your Predator cue and the weight?

thanks! :D

Neil Fujiwara
10-03-2003, 08:23 AM
Stock 314 shaft, 12.75mm with a Medium Moori tip.

The shaft is on a custom cue made by Ariel Carmeli with whom I used to work with in California. The cue is 18.4 ounces with a leather wrap.

05-11-2004, 01:05 PM
Neil,

Is your cue more forward balanced or rear balanced? How many inches is the balancing finger from the butt?

Neil Fujiwara
05-11-2004, 01:40 PM
My cue:

3.8 ounce shaft
14.6 ounce butt

I think the balance point is at 19", but I am not certain. It is a little forward balanced, but not much.

Actually, just switched to another Predator 2, same dimensions and weights though.

I like the balance and feel of the Predator 2, and this one I hand picked for good resonance.

Don't be so sure you'll be racking...don't what kind of game you have, but chances are, it is more than I have!! ...but if you're willing to give up the breaks, then you're on!!!

Not at Park, they have a no handicap race to 5 open at 6 pockets on Beach.

It's like $135 for first and there is only one or two people that can draw the ball.

Plus, it's closer to my house :)

"Rack the balls, and pay off"

Here's my post from azbilliards...I had to explain it there to: The point to that was to help explain the difference between the two lanuages. There are Spanish words and phrases that they would not teach in your typical high school Spanish class...why??? Because they have slang phrases just as we do. If you were to translate some of there slang phrases you would get some weird sounding English sentences. The same goes for English to Spanish. "Rack the Balls" is a slang term in the English lanuage. Therefore, when you translate it into another language it will sound like like a screwy French term, Spanish term, Japanese term, etc... Do you know ANY spanish? It is hard to explain the difference when you just know how to speak it. It would be like trying to explain the why we call it drywall, plasterboard, and sheetrock. Or why it is sometimes called soda, coke, pop, or tonic. If you don't understand what I am getting now...I have no idea how else to explain it. I just speak it...

Does that help at all??

Ok, well let me clear this up...I do not speak it fluently. I have Spanish origins, straight fom Spain (which is where they speak REAL Spanish). So, I can understand it pretty okay, and speak it sometimes. My grandfather is fluent, and oh man how I wish I was too...but that's just more college credits I'd have to take!!!

And actually to make it completely correct...it says "rack the balls, and pay the money"

Unfortunately, I haven't. I have wanted to go practically my whole life, and I have just never had the opportunity. Once I graduate college, I would like to take a trip there. As quirky as that sounds for me to have origins of Spain, and never went...it's the case. My grandfather travels there every so often...but I always have school, work, etc... It's hard for me to do anything that involves taking time off...

Just keep your head down and follow through.

If you can run out one time, you can do it again.

If you run out once, it does NOT mean you can do it again, sometimes the table is hard or impossilbe to run out.
Just play SMART if you don't see how you can get position then don't make the ball and play safe, same goes to hard shots, it's better to play safe on a hard shot then to miss it and leave it hanging.

audiopro
05-13-2004, 01:27 PM
Doesn't mean ya can't either...

first thing I learned about playing pool, is that it is never anyone else's fault that I lose. A good pool player should be able to block out what's going on around him/her and focus...I TRY to never blame the table or the pockets or bad rolls, etc... Not saying I never do, but I TRY

I see what you are saying...okay how it should be worded: I don't ever blame a missed shot or poor shape on anyone else. Usually, if I keep that up for a game, the other person will win. For THAT, there is no one to blame but myself...I shot the bad shots...I didn't follow through...etc. You see what I meant by that now??
