As you are aware I have purchased most all of my current pool equipment from Seybert's. Practicing with the Pechauer custom with 314-2 and the Predator P3 with Z2 shaft is a dream come true. Two entirely different cues; I respect their qualities, and I really do like the appearance of the P3 with the Luxe, simple yet elegant. Having the Poison VX 2.9 breaker does it's job perfectly. All resting in the Instroke 3X5 Buffalo till needed, and having the 1X1 when going to an APPA 8 ball match at the pub. I keep them clean, tips scraped, shaped, and chalked. I spent more than I anticipated, but have no regrets. I love playing pool, and learning over from the ground up with the Elephant Balls and Byrnes DVDs and books n Kinister DVDs. At home I have a table elevated to 30 inches and practice my stroke near a mirror with Buddy Hall's tube.
Just wanted to thank you and all the people at Seybert's for hooking me up with the knowledge, guidance, and excellent service at your shop.

Hello my name is Gene Shepherd. I have recently purchased a McDermott C-110, M2K-1, as well as the I-2 Shaft. Now this may not seem like much but I have been playing billiards in one way or another since i was 2 yrs old. (Not Always With a cue of Course!!) My father's first job was in a small pool hall, and he would set me on one of the tables, and let me play. But anyway ever since i have been old enough to hold a cue I have shot with nothing other than Meucci Cues, Nothing else came close. Just got me Predator 3k-2 a few hours ago and all I can say is "wow", this is absolutely the finest cue that I have ever felt. I can't wait for the wife to get home from work so I can take it out and show the boys as well as shoot a few games. About a month ago I bought an Instroke 3x7 bag. I loved the bag and I wanted to share this story with you. I got a flat tire on my car, pulled my bag out and leaned it against the back of the car. I changed the back tire and when I let the jack down I noticed that the car didn't go back down like it should have. It turns out the Instroke bag slipped under some metal on the back and was holding the back of the car up. I had to jack the car back up to get the bag out. The only damage was a little wrinkle in the back of the bag. It is nice to know that my cues will be ok even after I do something braindead like that. Ok Sid, you were 100% correct, I'm floored over the way this thing performs! I have never tried any cue that was lighter than 20oz. With this I think that I could have went lighter yet than the 19.5or so you set up for me. Took about 2hrs. of toying with it to really start to get the grasp, but I used it in comp. play last night to play 9 ball in league and won! My team captain was awed at some of the shots I attempted and made, whereas before I would avoid if at all possible. Dear Sid, Just a note to tell you how much I'm enjoying my new Predator shaft and to comment on the great job Pops did mating it to my Mali butt. It looks and hits as well as anything I've ever played with. There is only one problem - precision. The 314 shaft is so precise, I have no excuse when I miss a shot, except to blame myself and who wants that?! I am kidding of course. I have noticed a considerable difference in the amount of power needed to make shots. I've got to get used to stroking a little softer to get the same pocket speed I'd get from my old shaft or I'll continue to jaw balls. I've got to UN-compensate for my old, whippy shaft! Dear Sirs, I Decided to drop you a line and comment on my new shaft. I ordered a Predator shaft for an old Joss West cue make by Bill Stroud. I really didn't expect to see much difference over the 2 excellent shafts that Bill supplied with the cue, but felt I owed it to myself to at least try the Predator's hit and compare it to what I already had. I was pleasantly surprised to find a noticeable difference in the hit, and the accuracy of the shaft. I am looking forward to many evenings of learning all that this shaft can deliver. I would also like to comment on your policy on sizing of the shafts. I sent a measurement of my joint collar and was amazed at how well the new shaft fit my cue, even though it was "outside" the normal range of sizes available. Sid, Just wanted to say I got everything on time...took the new cue over to the Rec Center and played a few games...the 314 shaft has a sweet spot like a Baseball bat, I love the way it breaks!!!! I dropped 4 balls out of a 9-ball rack 6 times in the hour I played and got 3 nine balls in a row. Without a doubt, this has to be the best money I have ever spent. PS. You recently installed a partial Predator shaft on a Balicini butt for me, and I wanted to give you some feedback. First, the workmanship was excellent and the turnaround time was less than a week. Second, the shaft does everything better than any shaft I've ever used. I now know that if I miss a shot, it was me, which allows me to analyze what I did and correct my mistakes. Overall, my confidence in my shooting has increased so much that I'm shooting 40% better. I didn't know I was this good! Finally, I would recommend the Balicini as an excellent butt to match a Predator shaft with. It's graphite fiber construction allows it to transfer impact energy but damp vibration exceptionally well, giving an excellent feel. George |

Rick, I got my Predator 9-1 this evening. Thanks for the extra attention and the joint protector set. The cue arrived in great shape, (I'm impressed with your shipping/packaging), and seems to be perfect. I've only had a couple of hours to shoot with it, and I must say, I'm not sure what the big deal is about getting used to this shaft. I seem to be having no problem. In fact, it's making me wish I had ordered the second shaft at the same time. The only thing I noticed was that it felt very light. I thought you had shipped an 18.5 or 19 oz. cue. I weighed it, and sure enough, it's about 19.5. I finally figured out, it must be the approx. 19 inch balance point that feels strange. I'm used to an 18 inch. That seems to make it feel lighter. The cue got here and it's a sweetie. Thanks for the quick service on that. I was able to win my tournement despite having only played the stick a day or so. Still haven't gotten the two tip tools I ordered. I'll let you know if they don't show up today. Special thanks to Rick. He had called and wanted to make sure the shipping instructions were going to work. It went fine. Also: compiments to your web page. It was a hoot to shop on and kept me interested in your merchandise long enough to swing the purchase. Rick, I got my second Predator shaft today, and it's beautiful. It rolls perfectly both on and off the cue, and the fit is as good as the primary shaft. As you know, I ordered one of the "second quality" shafts. HA! It took me quite awhile to find a small light brown spot in the grain. (Less than 1/4", and not noticeable unless you're looking for it). Other than that, it's perfect! Quite frankly, if I were in the store looking at cues and shafts, I would've purchased this shaft as a non-second quality shaft! You'll get some referrals for the Predators, and I'm also talking it up to some of my Viking loving friends. Thanks again, Bob |
Sid, Hello from Austin Texas ! My name is Pete Carabine , you shipped me a Predator 99-1 a couple days before christmas. WOW ! It's probly the best gift I have ever gave myself. I've always been a complete skeptic when it comes to companies that GUARANTEE you will perform better with their product, But Predator Cues has won me over. It's done more than help me sink an extra ball or two during competition, It seems like it has it's own Auto Pilot that lets me concentrate on position play, instead of getting bogged down with concentrating on what English I need to use. I have improved my game by at least 30%. It's like I just need to aim for the pocket and the Predator will do the rest..I know it sounds Corny...But it's works for me...and hey......modestly speaking...I wasn't to shabby of a pool player...This cue pushed me into a much higher level of play. Good morning, I am just e-mailing you to tell you what a great service that you have. I am refering to order 1581-0893-0182. I ordered my stick a week ago Sunday and I ordered a Mali Sneeky Pete type of cue. I knew that the stick I wanted would probably take a while to get but I e-mailed you the first of the week to check on my order anyway. When you replied to my inquiry that you were waiting on the company to get the stick in I thought it would be a month before I would recieve the stick I ordered. It arrived yesterday. I could not be happier with the stick. I origionally thought that I would use it for snooker and figured that it would be an okay looking and shooting cheap stick, but it shoots and feels better than any other stick that I have ever owned.
